Frank Capra’s 1946 classic “It’s a Wonderful Life”, starring Jimmy Stewart,  has taken first place in a survey of more than 7,000 people by RadioTimes.com to help discover the most popular Christmas film in the UK.

The top 20 from the Radio Times survey is listed below. We are not convinced the Harry Potter film at number 20 should have been included. However you dress it up, it just isn’t a Christmas film, even though it contains a Christmas scene.
