What’s believed to be (and surely has to be) the UK’s first Christmas concert of the new decade is be held this month at The King Alfred School Academy in Highbridge. You can consider it 11 months early but it is, more accurately, several weeks late.

The Christmas concert will be held at The Academy on January 27 at 6.30pm after an outbreak of flu meant it had to be postponed last month. And yes, there will be mince pies and mulled wine at evening’s end.
