One of the great British Christmas traditions is Carols from King’s. This year, the celebrated King’s College Choir has collated its favourite carols on a new album that’s available for purchase or download right now. The title? What else but “Favourite Carols from King’s”? The seasonal broadcast from King’s can be seen and heard across BBC radio and television on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Also look out for the documentary marking the 60th anniversary of TV airings of the famous carol service.

And with the double issue Christmas Radio Times in hand it is also a good time to plan what may need recording. Disney film sensation “Frozen” is available on Sky Premiere from Christmas Day. You might want to start there.
